Gamejam Projects

Making games from scratch is always a challenge, but developing a game alongside others is a learning experience. Below are playable versions of all of Andreas' Gamejam projects (each made within the specified time). All games below were created from scratch in Contruct 2 engine.

Live Community Projects

Making a game can be fulfilling, but sharing the experience with others is even better! Some of Andreas' games were created while streaming on twitch. Some example videos can be found below:

Hosted by Project Spark Community, Andreas created "Genesis", a 30-min long horror-game, while streaming. 95% of the game was created live, under 27 episodes (for full playlist, click here) .

Along with the Dreambubble community, Andreas created a board game about the popular Guildford game studio "Media Molecule" and streamed the process.

Most of the art assets were created live and the

community played a vital role in coming up with

fun ideas.

Works in progress

This is what Andreas is currently working on:

Jack Nice

work in progress -

unreal engine

Jack Nice is the story of a person

living in a fictional, wacky city full

of memorable characters and events.

Focusing on humor and exploration,

Jack Nice is full of little secrets and casual, enjoyable gameplay.

Physer

2D physics platformer

Currently under development, Physer

is a physics platformer that focuses on letting the player choose how to progress the game, while bringing back nostalgic moments from the SNES era. Its artstyle is minimalistic and the game is meant for all ages.

Physer is created using the Construct 2

engine.

Other Projects

Various other projects that Andreas has worked over the years:

A custom Super Mario campaign created using

Yoyo Games' Mario Builder v11-4. It includes 3

custom made overworlds and more than 20 levels.

A custom map for Far Cry 3, in which you had to

race till the end. Created using Far Cry 3 Map editor.

A custom map made for Far Cry 4, in which you had to escape a prison. Created using Far Cry 4 Map

editor.

A custom desert map made for Far Cry 4. Was trying to test the ability of the AI ambushing the player, in order to add horror elements.

A racing challenge created using Gameglobe editor.

The level was selected as an official challenge by the Gameglobe moderation team and prizes were given to the 3 top scorers.

An engine created within Project Spark that utilized voxels as blocks and allowed precise block building. The engine was never finished, but it served as a lesson for future projects.
